On 25th April, ten McGlashan men headed to Queens Gardens along with thousands of other people for the annual Dunedin Anzac Day dawn parade. It is cold and wet, but it didn't affect the numbers of those attending. We gathered here today to acknowledge not only the deaths of those soldiers, but the contribution of them, risking their lives to protect and safe their own country. Although it is during the holidays, we have to wake up at 5am in the morning, and stand for 2 hours. We are glad that we went to this memorable event and be a part of the people representing New Zealand to thank those soldiers who died for the country
